Yeast is a wonderful thing, and can massively change your beer experience. For these two beers, Dance First, & Think Later you'll notice a new logo; TH+ which signifies our exploration into Thiolised yeast. We teamed up with the good people at WHC Lab and used their Hop Unlock yeast which is taking the industry by storm. We've dramatically changed the way these beers were dry hopped to take advantage of the bound thiols and unlock flavour profiles we wouldn't be able to by using our house yeast and usual dry hopping techniques.
This version is hopped with Nelson Sauvin, so expect its usual white wine and gooseberry profile, amongst some more unusual characteristics not usually associated with a Track Pale Ale.

29/4/2023. Can shared by ITFCDan, from Hopsters Ipswich. Pours slightly hazy pale golden orange with a small frothy white head. Aroma of orange, melon, white grape, gooseberry, straw, grapefruit with a touch of herb. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, tart edge. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Enjoyable.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate starts light and fairly smooth but develops good fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. So Nelson hops with the latest hop boost fad - Thiol. I bought this beer, curious to see what could be done with much faded NS hop. Does Thiol help? Yeah a bit, I am getting a brighter grape than usual. Some mild citrus sits underneath that and it all goes well with a crisp pine and a pinch of hop spice. Finishes light, semi dry and crisp. Well, I would much rather have Nelson Savin hops like they were 10 to 12 years ago but I with Thiol is better than without these days. Drinkable brew.

440ml can. Hazy golden, white head. Aroma of white wine, gooseberries. Taste is a solid Nelson showcase, tonnes of white wine, grape, gooseberries, orange and lemon, some peppery hop spice. An excellent pale. And as with Dance First I'm left wondering what the unusual characteristics were supposed to be - too similar to other Track pales tbh.
