The Marzen or Oktoberfest Lagerbier before refrigeration was nearly impossible to brew in the summer due to the hot weather, Thus, most were brewed in March (Marzen) from the mid 19th Century. With a toasted caramel aroma along side a slight Orange Citrus finish we believe that this Malty, Amber, session-able Lager has modernised those classic examples.

440ml can (brewed at Drop Project), gifted to me for xmas. Slightly hazy orange amber, white head. Aroma of bready malt, caramel, marmalade. Taste is slightly sweet, malty, bready, caramel, marmalade, orange, generic fruitiness, bitter hop finish. Medium bodied. Alright.

Keg at the green elephant Falmouth. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting off white cap. Aroma is semi sweet, buttered bread, diacetyl, caramel, stewed veg. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty malts, grass, wet grass, spicy hop. Meh. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, light tang, moderate carbonation. Not great.
