Can from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is chocolate orange, raisin, vanilla, toffee. Flavours of dark chocolate, touch of orange lingering in the background, toffee, raisin, vanilla. Nostalgic back taste of Orange Matchmakers, which I loved as a kid. Bumps the score up significantly.

Can at home... Dark black.. Thick tan head... Soft sweet vanilla chocolate roast malts.. Light clove nose... Dark chocolate.. Light bitter roast... But its clove again... I don't like cloves

330ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of orange peel, cinnamon, boozy dark fruits. Taste is very very sweet and sugary, boozy dark fruit, raisin, cherry, orange peel, cinnamon spiciness, warming finish. Medium bodied, smooth. Nice flavours but goodness me it's far too sweet to truly enjoy. Thankfully it was only a 330ml can.

330ml can at home. Very dark brown with a foamy tan head. Aroma is dried fruit and cream. Flavour has lots of boozy warmth with roasted malt, raisin and vanilla

Black beer, solid tan head. Smells fruity with a bit of malt and some lactose. Flavour has tangy, sweet fruit, creaminess, spices like clove and cinnamon, some malt, boozy warmth. Sweet and spicy with a good body to it and showing its strength, one to sip but it's a big, rich winter warmer.
