Our take on a Cask Best Bitter. Amber hues and malt flavours abound. Bread crust, light toffee and drying biscuity finish are the order of the day, balanced by the delectable traditional hop pairing of UK grown Fuggle and Golding hops.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on Christmas Eve 2022. Brownish copper with pale tan foam and scant lacing. Caramel malt aroma with sweet fruits. Biscuit malts in-mouth with berry fruits and a fresh dairy touch. Butterscotch and dairy notes in finish. Light to medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at Deya’s taproom. Clear amber, off white head. Aroma of bready biscuity malts. Taste of biscuity malts, bready, mild hops, slightly sweet toffee taste leading to an assertive bitter finish. Solid cask bitter from Verdant, a surprise tbh.
