The main highway of the West Coast, this interstate runs largely parallel to the pacific coast stretching from the Mexican border to the Canadian border. Expect big citrus, fruity and piney notes with bold hop aroma and high bitterness.

440ml can. Slightly hazy orange, white head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, very resinous, piney, orange. Taste of sweet malts, caramel, resinous, pine, orange, grapefruit, bitter hoppy finish but on the whole a nice balance of malts and hops here. Cracking little WC IPA.

Draught keg at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Dark gold and clear with a ring of white head. Light piney character combines with some dank tropical fruit and a metallic note in the aroma. Taste is sweet with woody and tangerine character with some light tannic tones in the finish. Gentle body, heavy carbonation. It's pretty good in its own way.
