Black with a light brown head of modest duration. Pleasant aroma full of strong roasted tones, chocolate, vanilla, and a hint of cherry. Taste is bitter with the hops firmly in charge despite the big, sweet, malty base. Full bodied, oily, mild carbonation. Lacks creaminess—has a somewhat stagnant feel after some time in the glass. Otherwise quite nice.

Shared at Palace Hall, Malmö March 2024 tasting (23/03/2024) - new 🇸🇪 brewery ✅ roasted dark malty with some coffee roast and cocoa, singed brown sugar, nice mouthfeel and body, dark malty finish. Great first impression.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Pitch black colour with a mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is chocolaty, some toffee and mild liquorice with a bit wooden tones too. Flavour is toffee, some chocolate, liquorice, mild wooden tones with some slight smoked wet wooden and spicy tones to it. Mellow and very drinkable for this abv!

Can 33 cl. Pours black and almost syrupy thick with a smallish, beige head. Roasty, chocolatey aroma. Rich, sweet body with plenty of roastiness, licorice and chocolate with some malty, finishing bitterness. Very well made. 211123
