Dark amber with small head - Malt and some dark fruity notes in the aroma - Malt body with some dark fruity flavours along with some wood and alcohol heat - malt and wood with fruity tones and alcohol heat goes into the finish - This was good

Well stored bottle. Clear amber body under a thin head. Nice aroma of malt, dry fruit and warming alcohol. Pleasant taste of sweet malt, dry fruit, moderate bitterness and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. A really nice sipper that actually feels a lot lighter in alcohol than 12,5%.

YG 030324. Brown color with beige bubbles. Aroma is roasted malt, raisin, caramel, alcohol. Flavor is raisin, alcohol, dried fruit, caramel, rye, nuts, roasted malt. Powerful nice beer.

Bottle. A quite flat looking beer, although with some beige bubbles. Unclear brown body. The aroma has a pleasant boozyness, with caramel, caramel sauce, toffee, dark rye bread, some dried fruit and a touch of nuts, roasted malts and coffee grit. It's full-bodied and warming on the palate, sweet but not cloying, and quite gently but perfectly carbonated. Roasted malts, whisky hints, boozyness, prunes, caramel sauce, toffee and rye bread hints in the flavor. Some tobacco and old leather show up in the lasting finish. A really pleasant one, smooth, tasteful, gently warming and quite moreish. Think I need to source the version that's had some time on rye too. 240302

Delt med Rune. Ultramørk amber/svart. Lavt skum som forsvinner raskt. Aroma av svisker & nøtter. Smaken vinøs. Tørket frukt. God fylde. Tørr avslutning. Hint av alkohol.

330ml bottle, thanks to Finn for sharing. Almost black in the glass, low off-white head, lacing rings down the glass. Promising aromas of dried fruits and malty sweetness. Well blended taste of figs, prunes, and caramel malts. Rounded roasted, long lived finish. Well bodied. Decent sipper qualities. (Vervet, Tromsø 24.11.2023).

330 ml bottle, as Ægir Brageskål Jubileumsøl 15 år, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 12.5%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate to small tan head. Intense aroma of salty liquorice, roast malts, caramel, oak and whisky. Sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma.

Mørk brun noe tåkete med lys brunt skum. Lukter løvetannstilk og mandelkjerne. Fyldig. Smaker svisker, alkohol og karamell. Lang alkohol i avslutningen. (BREW Festival Oslo 2023)
