This beer is all about the blending of the barrels. Each barrel adding a layer of depth and complexity, their characteristics melding and blending into each other. Held together and showcased by the base ale, giving sweet flavours of dates, stewed plums and toffee along side the blended barrel notes.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Boozy with a complex barrel aroma. Picking up sherry, port, red wine, dried fruits, alcohol, oak, caramel, toffee, raisins. Sweet flavour with a boozy finish. Above medium body. Heavy and boozy. Strange to put such strong a beer in a large can, it packs quite a punch.

Draft. A dark brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, whiskey, sherry, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of sherry, grapes, whiskey, wood, alcohol, and caramel, leading to a dry finish. For enjoyment in small amounts.

Draught Rim over pitch-black beer. Dried fruit on alcohol, boerejongens , prunes, raisins on serious booze. Sweet, with an alcohol-harsh side. Again jumble of dried dark fruit. Full bodied, fiery alcoholhet, viscous & oily. Not very carbonated. Alcoholics' delight.
