Ridiculously hazy golden and raw honey coloured body with a very tall, five to six centimetre tall off-white and tan head, all atop a very hazy, glowing orange-juice tinted, about ninety-five per cent opaque glow - very nice looking. Aroma of bright citrus fruits, fresh-cut grass, hay, flowers, dank and resinous sweetness with a slight hint of alcohol in the nose, too. Medium-bodied; Rich citrusey flavours dominate with grapefruit, tangerine, mangoes and a touch of papaya/melons towards the end, with a good malt backbone, but better sweetness that hits almost perfectly, with all the fructose coming through and only a dash of alcohol noticeable. Aftertaste is very robust, but very easy-drinking, fruity and lightly grassy with a mild herbal quality, but a good hit of malt and some noticeable alpha acid bitterness towards the end, but this is definitely new school. Overall, a very nice, true New England IPA (imperial-ish) from New England that hits the fruit almost perfectly , the sweetness nicely and the alcohol is super-hidden, in a great way. This is much better than the 'regular' hipster and great to try and find. Very nice to have super fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on 21-December-2020 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 26-January-2021.

Can at home. Murky ugly pale yellow color, huge sized bubbly white head. Ugly as fuck. Aroma and flavor are ok. Decently malty, decently hoppy, decently bitter. Slight hint of orangepeel tart-bitter. Hmm overall: ok. 2-6-7-6-6,5

Can pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is opaque, dark, dark yellow (bordering on light brown) with no sparkle, 1.5-finger width foamy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is citrus, fruit, mild herb/cannabis over bread dough backbone. Taste is strong herb over milder sweet fruit. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, slight alcohol warmth, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, elements are all there but taste lacks complexity to be truly interesting. Decent, but not stellar.

Can Hazy yellow gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a little thin, a reasonable creamy sweetness. Pretty skunky hops, quite tangy and bitter. There is citrus and tropical fruits but they are very much secondary aspects to the bitterish skunk. A bit skunky then.

Pretty heavy on the hops, nice bitterness. Not just juice and fruit, but a proper DIPA here. Loads of grapefruit. Pretty good, offering something else than just sweet smoothie.

473ml can. Murky, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Chalky and oaty aroma, cautious hoppy overtones with unspecific fruitiness and a piney touch, just indications of tropical fruitiness, mango, passion fruit. Taste is quite identical: slightly dry oaty and hoppy, cautiously fruity, minimally papery and chalky, mango, passion fruit and pineapple at good will. Absolutely disappointing.
