Almost black beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong dark roasted malt, wood, spirits. Taste of intense cocoa, dried fruits, some coffee, wood, tobacco.

Malziger Beginn, dabei sind mehrere Noten hintergründig vorhanden, Kakao und Chili, es ist aber erst spät eine äußerst geringe Schärfe vorhanden. Milde Süße, trockene Herbe, Vanille kann ich gar nicht erkennen. Das Kakaoaroma wird etwas stärker, die lange Fasslagerung macht sich kaum bemerkbar. 9/8/8/8/12/8

Bottle picked up from the Schwarze Rose webshop and consumed at home Saturday 28th May 2022; listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul show on 6Music. Pours black with a fast disappearing head. Roasty, dry and quite bitter with a hint of but only subtle hints of tequila. Chocolate is bitter and dark version, cocoa powder a little touch of vanilla, little sweeteness, quite interesting as this doesn't fall into the usual over the top Imperial Stout traps.
