Dark brown. No head. There's some vanilla up front, and rich chocolate, with some cacao. There's a bit of alcohol, but lots of vanilla, with a chocolate overload, and umami. Finish has bitter chocolate, and a bit of vanilla.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Near black with no head. Coffee forward with oak, feint bourbon and vanilla, slight booze harshness on the finish, but comes together nicely.

Bottle at Benny’s place Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black in colour with little life. The aroma is roasty and big boozy alcohol. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, slightly oily, big roasty, red berry fruits, raisins, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from source: pours thick and black with small head. Aroma is loads of coffee, marshmallow, soy sauce, vanilla. Taste is sweetish, coffee, complex. Plenty of vanilla. Very smooth.

pitch black color, no head. Amazing depth of oak, anejo pepper, soy sauce, dark chocolate, massive roasted malt character. Massively boozy up front, then nuttiness, vanilla, decedent dark chocolate, massively body, super thick and sweet. Over the top but super boozy. Rounded. Really amazing but not worth the price that I didn’t pay. Still amazing beer

Bottle from John's. Pours a jet black hue, slick, a tiny bubble. A super sweet coffee nose. Rich, pure heavy coffee, dark roast, mellows to bourbon and vanilla. I am not a huge fan of coffee, though this is very good.

Waxed 375 from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a slight rusty/tan head that left rapidly. Aroma of coffee with a whiskey note. Full bodied. Flavor is bourbon, coffee, vanilla, heat with a non-musty oak note. Very strong coffee. Very good coffee. Not dry. Bitter? Maybe from the coffee. Exquisite flavor.
