Fruit Stripe Gum (R.I.P.) IPA? Lots of muddled fruit flavors with a heavy dose of sweetness and a firm lack of any bitterness to offset the sugary center. An IPA made for people who turned 21 after 2018, or for people who hate IPAs. No wonder this brand is keeping NB afloat.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 10/20/23. Clear golden amber, large white head, average retention. Aroma of melon, tropical fruit, tangerine. Taste is melon, tangerine, passionfruit. Well balanced, low bitterness.

12oz can picked up at the state store. Pours clear golden with a big frothy white head, good lacing. Grapefruit, pine, resin, bready, zesty. Good, old school West Coast IPA.

Aromas are a mild blend of citrus, resin and a bit of weed. Flavors are similar to nose, somehow even milder and leaning sweet with enough bitter and carbonation to make a drinkable. Nothing special at all.

12 oz. can from Ashley. Thanks Ashley! Pours a crystal clear light gold color with a large, bright white head and excellent retention. Good lacing. Strong floral hops aroma. Strong bitter hops flavor too, with a boozy finish. Exotic fruit flavors? Nope. Too bitter and too strong for my tastes. Medium body. Medium carbonation. High bitterness.
