Poured from a 16 oz can dated January 09, 2023. Aroma is hop forward and fruity with lots of passion fruit, stone fruit, grapefruit and tropical citrus notes. Lighter dank, oily notes. Light cracker malt notes and faint alcohol. Pours a pale, hazy, yellow straw color with a medium large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with light cracker malt notes. Moderate bitterness and faint alcohol notes. Quite a bit of passion fruit, grapefruit and tropical citrus with lighter notes of peach and darkness. A bit less juicy than in the aroma. A bit of a watery note in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid pale ale. Super hop forward with a balanced, perhaps a bit light malt profile. Decent bitterness and alcohol is well hidden.
Good Pale Ale with NZ hops.
