Bottle. Bar Stewards, Sheffield. A gift off the missus ages ago. Looks like still cider. Smells like it too. Lots of green apple and apple core. A bit saline. Some light funk. Taste is tart and dry. Acidic on the palate. Bone dry. Flat as you like. Tart and acidic finish. Absolutely nothing enjoyable about this, other than it’s made a bit of room in the fridge.

Bottle bought at White Horse Inn. Dank citrus aroma with a salty sapphire element to it. Cloudy pale amber gold. Fizzy translucent white head soon ebbs away. Medium-heavy sour. Underlying restrained saltiness. Medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Astringent finish. Perfect sat out here on a sunny patio.

330ml bottle from Corks of North St, Bristol. Pours lightly hazed golden with zero head. Aroma: tart, light funk, herbal. Taste: light sweet, apples, tart & sour fruits with a salty vibe. Light to medium body, no carbonation, dry-ish finish. Saison crossing over into gose territory with that salty samphire
