They might not ring a bell in the northern part of Belgium or abroad, but in Brussels they are part of the cultural heritage: Les Snuls! This collectif of comedians was known for their self-mockery and typically Belgian humor filled with absurdity. They have been making us laugh for 33 years now, and to celebrate this we have been asked to brew them a beer: Santa Belgica! Of course the name is in reference to one of their well-known sketches.
It is a blond beer of only 4,5% alcohol, highly drinkable and with a nice but moderate bitterness. Her hoppiness is at times fruity and at times floral. She's a beautifully balanced beer that has been created to drink amongst friends while rewatching the delicious sketches of Les Snuls! Santei!
