[ As Gigantic Saboteur ].Clear dark black brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, medium roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150430]

Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Keg at Mikkeller Viktoriagade, 30/04/15. Black with a well appointed tan covering. Nose is charr, toffee, faint menthol, chocolate, spice, wood notes. Taste comprises bitter dark chocolate, spice, dark malts, charr, toffee. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent Baltic Porter.

Bigger Copenhagen bimble with Colin, Ronnie, Reuben and Alex. Mikkeller Vik. Keg. Opaque black - brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth and dry with mild fine carbonation. Dry dark malts, little licorice and a trace of marmite. Mild coffee. Dry finish. All right but needs something else to lift it.

Small glass, draught at Mikkeller Bar Viktoriagade. Shiny black surface to a jet black body. Inviting mid-sweet aromas of dark malts with anise. Taste of dark chocolate malts together with salty liquorice. Malt-driven ending that lingers for quite a while. Strong, clean and smooth (Copenhagen 30.04.2015).

Bottle: Deep brown color, lots of tan head, but no real lacing. Nose is mild of roast, just a little yeast. Tastes roastier than expected, but familiar with fruity yeast (bananas, bubblegum), vanilla, and milk chocolate. Silky texture. Good.
