From a 500ml plastic bottle. Cloudy ruby dark coloured body. Small tan-coloured head. Smell of sweet, dark bread. Sweet prunes, raisin and dark bready taste. Thin on the swallow. Possible to drink when you think of it as a soft drink (kindly shared by djoeye, Tromsø 07.05.2014).

Bottle, 1.5ltr, at Anker Hostel kvass rating session 2014. It’s a clear, dark brown beer with some beige bubbles on top. The aroma has quite a lot of cola, as well as caramel and some wort. Not much rye bread. The flavor is too sweet, lacking on rye bread. Caramel, raisins and cola. Thin and soft on the palate. Short, sweet cola finish. Too sweet this one, but sort of drinkable. 140503

50cl PET at some pancake place in Riga. Pours clear dark brown with almost no head. Dark malty and bready aroma with caramel and notes of dark fruits. Sweet and bready without any signs of bitterness. Quite okay, but a bit too sweet.

Bottle. Sweet raisin and paper aroma. Clear very dark brown colour, almost no head. The flavour has a lot of raisin, is very sugary and has a citric note to balance. Perhaps a roasted hint somewhere, but that does not really make it taste a lot like porter.

8/XI/12 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 18/I/13 (2012-1254) Thanks to Koen M. for the bottle!

Clear dark brown beer, small aery beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very aged, like an old Westy (probably cause that's a beer I regularly taste at 4 y.o.), yeast, some bread, rum raisins, orange peel, caramel, brown sugar, dried figs. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet and sugary start, caramel, orange peel, some citrus, brown sugar, very sweet. Aftertaste: candied oranges, Madeira, very sugary and sweet. If it would have been less sweet, it would be nice, great even. But it's not.
