Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of mocha, chocolate, earthy vanilla, licorice, coffee and malt. Taste has creamy mocha, salmiak, chocolate, café latte, bitter caramel and subtle smoke. A nice classic ris, just what I wanted.

Pours a bit viscously to a deep dark red-brown beer, almost black, under a thick & dense tan-brown head; Roast, sweet, liquorice, meatcrust/gravy, toffee, but also dark green leaves. Much more bitter tastewise, burnt, intensely roasted, sweeter roasted molasses in the background. Bit strangely burning MF, viscous, medium to well-carbonated, dense consistency. Aftertaste has hints at spirit; Good I.S.

Bottle. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Chocolate, roasted malt. Taste: Medium sweet roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, hints of vanilla and laurel. Moderate bitterness. Smooth, soft carbonation. Above medium body. Almost tasting like this beer had some Bourbon barrel ageing. Really nice.
