[December 2022] A Christmas Day treat, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Big on whisky in the aroma and taste, full bodied, slightly oily, with some chocolate malt and a sweet boozy kick.

21st November 2022, Monthly Beer Share in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury; 5 of us. Cheers Mark for the cork and caged bottle of this: BB June 2024. It's dark and moody with a decent tanned topping. Boozy chocolate with a Bourbon trace or two, nice!

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 22. Thanks Mark for this. Pours a deep dark colour with a large, menacing dark brown head. Strong bourbon nose with additional dark malts. Taste delivers a pokey booziness with a sizeable amount of whisky coming through, some gentle vanilla and nutty chocolate creeping in on the close with a full palate. Quite full on this, I sense this would be tough going to sip the entire bottle alone.
