Cask @ The Dolphin, Shrewsbury. Pours dark, one could say black I suppose, good creamed tan head. Aroma is of chocolate, continuing to taste, very smooth, creamy mouthfeel, gentle lactose with a mild chocolate character running throughout. Served perhaps a little too warm but otherwise fine.

Hand-pulled half-time on 1st April 2022 in the newly re-opened Cock Hotel, Wellington Shropshire (after a huge refurbishment). Black bodied, beige foam on top. Coffee and chocolate esters, chocolate flavours, not as rich or creamy as I expected, but overall it was fine.

Near-black with a creamy tan head and a mellow, bitter coffee aroma. Smooth and velvety, maybe a little thin, with bitter chocolate and roasted malt in the flavour mix

Cask at Coopers Tavern, Burton on Trent. Pours almost black with a small cream head. Unsurprisingly dark chocolate is the mainstay of the aroma, though roast malts can be detected too. In the mouth it is sweet and creamy, with lactose turning the chocolate flavouring milky. Finish is slightly sweet. A decent well balanced stout.
