Farsons Green Hop IPA is hopped using a special blend of five different hop varieties which together give this beer its characteristic and unique hoppy flavour profile. The beer is hopped twice during the 4-5 week-long brewing process, first in the Brewhouse and later in the Fermentation tank during the maturation stage where carefully selected special aroma hops are added to give this beer its distinct flavour and aroma.
In the brewing industry this late hop addition process is referred to “Dry Hopping”. The overall result is an innovative combination of the hoppy basic notes with exclusively fruity characteristics which complement a very pleasant malt character with hints of biscuit flavour in the after taste.
This modern IPA has a complex, creamy, and refined taste profile – another Farsons Classic in the making.

Tap at FRONT in Xlendi. Golden to amber color, clear, short white head. Flavor immediately got me to brooklyn west ipa, at least on the hops profile while being less powerful on the malts side. Relatively thick body, important bitterness. A good twist on the local offer at least, scores ok to me, maybe a bit raw but fair enough.

1/4/2022. Bottle shared by minutemat, cheers. Pours clear golden amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, malty, leafy, touch piney and herbal. Hint of biscuit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Quite oily, average carbonation. Nice bitterness develops. Old school IPA. It's ok.

8th Feb 2025: 330ml bottle @ Hard Rock Cafe Malta International Airport admiring a shirt worn by Jackson Browne. Tasting old, oxidised, some cardboard. Awful.
10th March 2022: 330ml bottle @ blackhaddock's beer cave. Gold pour, good white head. Has a slightly earthy herbal sweetness, light cardboard, gentle oxidisation perhaps, quite malt-forward with a firm hop bitterness. Bit 1990s. Ok.

9th March 2022. Mini-tasting with minutemat at my place. Cheers Mat for this 33cl bottle (minus a Panda for Grumbo). Light golden blonde, red hue, clear and bright, short lasting white head. Pretty malty and sweet for an IPA, the hops playing second fiddle in this one.
