Brewed in small batches to celebrate the granting of our town's charter 450 years ago, our limited-edition copper ale boasts the distinctly smooth, full-body character, typical of the Three Tuns. With a mild, malty sweetness, Charter features hints of toasted nut and a subtle hoppy background - an undeniably spirited ale to capture the charm of Bishop’s Castle.

Shared third of a pint at the 31st Shrewsbury Beer Festival in St Mary's Church on 28th September 2023. Copper Mild (is what the brewery call it's colour and style), and it is copper in colour I suppose, flat white head. Malty front with an earthy, nutty feel. Liked it.

Cask @ Shrewsbury Real Ale Festival 2023. Pours a deep gold, white head. Quite a deep caramelised malt character, twiggy elements, nice grainy malt notes, prickly bitter close. Good stuff.
