Nightbus is an oat malt forward smooth stout with a bittersweet dark chocolate finish. Think chocolate, coffee and velvet deliciousness.

Can from Beer52. Near black pour with nice beige head. Chocolate hobnob aroma with some roasted malt and sour berries. Oats are doing there thing here leaving a nice soft medium bodied mouthfeel and slightly imparting in the flavour. Taste wise though it has a mellow pleasantness to it but to the point of boring. A bit of chocolate, oat, light roast, berry; nothing standing out. Nice balance to it though.

330ml can via Beer52: BB 30th April 2024. Poured into an old Gordon's thistle shaped glass at home on 30th August 2023. Dark brown, tanned topping, looks good. Roasted/toasted malty front to both the aroma and taste, bitter chocolate follows. Liked it!

Can from Beer 52 – drank at home. Pours dark brown with a medium sized frothy tan head. The aroma is mainly roasted malts with hints of oats, cola and berry fruits. Smooth and sweet with a creamy texture in the mouth. The flavour starts off as mainly roasted malts, but after a while chocolate comes through to dominate, along with dark fruits and traces of oats. A dcent stout but a little bland.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A bright tawny brown pour with a billowing beige head; aroma of oats and caramel; smooth, soft oaty body with some berry fruits and sweet chocolate syrup; and a finish of oat biscuits and tart berries. Very pleasant.
