Hauora Pai means 'good health' in Maori, and yes, your customers are going to hate me for making them try to pronounce it. It's a tough one for Kiwis to get their tongue around, but if it sounds something like 'Hoe wara pie', that's pretty close. Pale and dry hopped with Nectaron to give tropical fruit aroma.

12/7/2023. Bottle shared by minutemat, cheers. Pours clear bright golden with a small bubbly white head. Nice pour. Aroma is hoppy, lemon, malt, flowers, slight spicy edge. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, average carbonation. Nice developing bitterness to finish. Not bad.

500ml bottle shared with blackhaddock in his beer cave. Relatively clear gold appearance, large white head. Clean citrussy NZ profile, no melon or gooseberry, but lighter citrus flavours coming through. Nice enough.

21st June 2023, new region and rare beer tasting with minutemat (and a sample for Grumbo) at my place. Thanks Mat for keeping the Shropshire rates going and bringing along this 500ml bottle: BB 30th May 2024. Mostly clear golden body, white affair on top. Nectaron is a new hop to me I believe, it's citrusy and 'light', almost typical New Zealand I suppose. Another decent beer from Stonehouse.
