Made using a fine spread of the choicest malts and a generous helping of oats to create smooth and roasty Oatmeal Stout. Additions of Centennial and experimental hop HBC472 blend to affirm a satisfying bitterness and subtle zesty fruit character.

Can from Beer52. Pours fairly thick for the strength - nice black colour with tanned head. Aroma has the roast, coffee and chocolate, somewhat creamy with some reasonable spice in the hop. Taste has these elements with maybe a hint of dark fruit. Smooth medium creamy body. Maybe lacks a wow factor but this is a very solid stout in all areas.

330ml can via Beer52: BB 14th February 2024, drank at home on 29th May 2023 while playing cards with friends. Black bodied, tanned beige head. Decent enough Stout, usual attributes (malty, smooth, chocolatey, with a coffee trace or two). Mild bitterness throughout.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A glossy black pour with a fast fading beige head; aroma of well toasted grains; bitter roasted grain taste at first, then a full oaty body with a honeyed sweetness; followed by a satisfying porridgy finish. A rather good stout.
