Mild Out is our take on a classic English-style ale, one that we’ve been meaning to brew for a very long time!
Sweet caramel and biscuity malt flavours meet light and floral UK hop characters with soft citrus and fruity esters. Ripe currants and rich muscovado flood the tastebuds alongside a smooth, dry, yet creamy body. A beer that brings a complexity well beyond its strength.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is brown malts with caramel, some nutty notes, dark bread. Hint of tobacco. Mild sweet (no pun intended) and bitter. Extra point for sheer sessionable drinkability.

Can from Beer52. Dark brown with moderate sized beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, biscuit, slight earthiness with some sweet notes. Taste has the good malt background with some berry/plum fruitiness and a light floral and spice hop tingle. Light to medium bodied, firmer in body than your average mild, fine carbonation. Good balance. Excellent mild. Magic Rock have certainly got some of their mojo back after changing hands.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A chestnut brown pour with a loose cream coloured head; caramel malt aroma; tastes of nuts, malts and caramel with a light leafy hop bitterness to balance the sweetness of the malts; then an earthy finish with lingering cashew and macadamia nuts. An excellent mild.

330ml can via Beer52: BB 16th February 2024. poured into a Good People Brewing Company (Birmingham, Alabama), straight sleeve at home on 30th April 2023. Mahogany red body, clean and clear, beige affair on top. Nice gentle maltiness to the aroma and taste, soft hop bitterness, no citrus fruits were harmed brewing this beer. First new Mild Ale for a while, really enjoyed it's simplicity and Englishness.
