A collaboration between two breweries who love red IPAs! This example is accentuated with Seville orange marmalade, which enhances the hoppy citrus and resinous character, while playing wonderfully against delicate toasty malts.

Can from Beer52's Siren 10th Anniversary box. Light murky orange-red with off white foam. Nose of red fruits, pine, marmalade, toasted malt, slightly fusty. Malty taste at first; brown bread, brioche and then marmalade, grapefruit zest. Quite a drying bitterness with a slightly cloying mouthfeel.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy golden amber pour with a thick cream coloured head; aroma of caramel malts and orange; fresh and zesty in the mouth with an orangey bitterness then some smooth caramel; then more bitter orange marmalade to finish. Very tasty, but leaving a feeling that something is missing.

330ml can from Beer52: BB 10th April 2024. Second beer in a mini tasting with myself on 23rd April 2023. Poured into a Gordons thistle shaped glass it looked lovely, slightly hazed red body, cream coloured head on top. Marmalade on toast with a bitterness late on.
