Bessy was our first ever milk stout and continues to be one of our top-rated beers. Now with a cinnamon twist Cinnabun Bessy has had a makeover that adds a new level of "ooh la la" to our favourite dark beer.

Can from Beer52. Dark brown with small beige top. Dark malt, moderate roast, cinnamon dustiness and sweetness on the nose. Taste of dark malts, cinnamon and a lactose sweetness, somewhat grainy and semi-dry. Somewhat simple but balanced for the style and tasty.

330ml can via Beer52: BBE November 2023. Drank at home on Easter Saturday 8th April 2023. Beige topping on a very dark brown body. Didn't pick up any Ooh La La or Cinnamon but I did like the Chocolate aroma and taste.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A dark chestnut brown pour with a thick beige coloured head; chocolatey aroma; sweet with an oaty taste and milky body; then some sweet rusk to finish with the merest trace of cinnamon adding a little warmth.

Thin beige head on a dark brown body. Cinnamon & chocolate aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a nicely carbonated clean back. Chocolate, malt, cinnamon, treacle & Christmas chocolate tastes. I'd love to try this from Cask if it exists.
