Keg at the Pelican Inn, Gloucester. Black colour with a tan head. Some roasted bitterness, with coffee. medium body.

Keg at the Sandford Park Alehouse, Cheltenham, 02/08/24. Black topped with a tan head. Nose is chocolate, toffee, dark malts, light roast. Taste comprises cocoa powder, toffee, coffee bean, light charr, roasted tones, hint of dried fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Tidy stout.

Guinness clone, apparently pasteurised and kegged (Dorothy Goodbody’s) Wholesome Stout. Near black with a creamy beige head and very soft roasted malt on the nose. Smooth and creamy with roasted malt and very slightly harsh/burnt coffee bitterness

Keg at the Old Wagon & Horses 1812, Iverley. Pours jet black with a medium head. Aroma is creamy dry roast. Taste is dry, roasty and yeasty.

Keg half-pint at The Church Inn, Ludlow on 10th February 2023. It's black with a tanned head. Coffee nose and initial flavour, malty and flavoursome.
