The liquid is a striking juxtaposition to the somber vibe of the art, coming off bright and fruity. The beer holds a beautifully consistent haze and has excellent head retention that props up a bouquet of sweet stone fruit and dank pine. The hop bill features a tropical trifecta of El Dorado, Citra, and Triumph that meld beautifully and really add depth to the mid-palate.

19/XII/22 - 1Pt. can from a trade, shared @ home, BB: n/a, canned: VII/4/22 09:20, N1181FR, “genesis date” (2022-1757) Thanks to Aaron for the trade!

Cloudy pale blond yellow beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly, little adhesive. Aroma: very floral, fruity, sweet impression, more fruity, nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sweet start, very soapy, chemical touch. Aftertaste: floral, soapy, bitter, meh, rather unpleasant, way too sweet, not a big fan of this one, don’t like it.

Crisp and pretty clear golden and copper coloured body with a thinnish, just off-white head. Aroma of some light citrus fruits with a lot of earthy and biscuity malts and some relatively subdued alpha acid bitterness noticeable in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong citrusey and stone fruity flavours dominate up front with a good balance of malts here and a crisp bitterness which is stronger than most of the newer school IPAs, but still much less than a 'real' West Coast IPA. Aftertaste shows the fruits as well with some more stone fruits and some grassy, floral notes towards the finish, with a good layering of the malts and some soft subdued sugars at the finish. Overall, a pretty nice and relatively straight forward IPA with a good structure and some moderate fruit notes, but no real bitterness throughout. Great to have, especially super fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Trader Joe's in San Francisco (North Beach), California on 29-August-2022 a few hours ago for US$3,25 sampled on the streets of San Francisco, California on 29-August-2022 the following day.
