Saw the good reviews and was encouraged to try this, but is really is just a step above hop water - malts present but faint and wispy - hop bitterness is decent, but there’s not much else there.

Pours slightly hazed light gold into a shaker. Foamy off-white head with medium retention recedes leaving gloppy spiders. Caramel and honey aromas. Medium bodied with sweet caramel and mild, earthy pith front to back. Lasting pith finish.

This beer has a mild, less than impressive aroma, but the flavor is better. As expected it’s hop forward. Pine and citrus. Unlike another NA IPA I had a while back (brewdog punk AF), this has some body. It’s actually alright, certainly better than my low expectations.

pretty darn good for an NA beer - sampled a few with a friend and quite impressed

Undated can drunk 1/10/25.
Clear, medium-copper. Large, rocky, white head, strong retention.
Caramelly-cereal sugar, a bit of light copper. Maybe some light floral hop (vague pine?) but very, very timid on the hops. Clean other than the metallic character.
In the mouth it's got a decent body. I will say, their stuff is a lot better-bodied than the usual NA hop seltzer. Almost malty without much, if any, wortiness. Clean, not really metallic in flavor. There's some vague pine, maybe light grapefruit. Mild bitterness. At least it's clean and the texture is strong for an NA. Just needs a bit more hop.

Marigold bouquet. Clear amber, thin head. Cardboard, grass, marigold. Light body, easy carbonation. Tastes stale. Dated 12/18/23.

Grabbed a sixer to finish up this month’s theme. Amber gold and quite small head. Nose is faint pine and wort. Tatsss of pine, hint of citrus, caramel. Thin bodied but refreshing. Touch of bitters

Aromas and flavors are malt, slightly old resin and citrus hops. A bit watery with forced carbonation. Could be better, could be worse.

12 oz can poured. Darker copper orange pour, almost amber, with lots of foam head. Tasty IPA here overall, dense with malt flavors that lean on the bready side. Gentle bitter front, some pine, that grows and lasts ok the palate. Has a very old school west coast IPA feel to it. Flavorful and doesn't have some of the distinct features other NA brews have that give their status away. Nice super duper session IPA here.

12 oz. can sent by brewers rep for comment. This pours darker than their Kölsch style. An amber color with a bit of haze, and tall, rocky head. The smell has a note of west coast resiny hop, but there is a bit of that metallic note that wasn’t in the Kölsch. Just a bit. The taste is still kind of off-balance. Hoppy beers don’t always work out without some alcohol to support them. Unlike the Kölsch, this has some soapy side notes that take me out of the IPA zone. Bitterness builds up as I go through the glass, giving it some redemption at the end.
