330ml can. Darkest brown colour with average, thick, creamy, slowly diminishing, moderately lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty and chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, mocha, roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, a touch of amaretto, tiramisu, coffee-soaked biscuit. Taste is dry, roasty and slightly chocolately dark malty, notes of dark chocolate, coffee, a touch of tiramisu, amaretto, mocha; lingering bitter, roasty finish. Slightly creamy texture, dry, slightly creamy, minimally cloying palate, fine carbonation. Very roasty, coffee-dominated; but neither boozy nor Imperial. Good.

Pours clear, very dark ( Near black). Smell is roasty, tad lactose. Vanilla and almond are more hidden, but can be traced. Almonds burst out after a while in the glass though. Taste is full on roasty, clashing by it's provided roasty bitterness, to the sweetness by the lactose. Coffee, pure and intense coffee bitterness. Vanilla doesn't really show. Almonds are there throughout the whole taste, and even though they're clear, they do give way for the roastyness and coffee bitter à bit. As it warms up, almonds get stronger here as well.

150ml draught at Skaal. Black in the glass, spotty lacing from a covering beige head. Promising smell of grainy chocolate. Powerful taste profile of mid-sweet chocolate added by caramel. Smoothly roasted, mid-sweet malt-driven ending. Mouth filling. Excellent. (Copenhagen 09.05.2019).
