Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2023, Saturday. Black beer with a tan head. Aroma and Taste of sweet chocolate, caramel, vanilla, brownies, very good.

Pours black, no head. Scent is maple heavy, intense roast. Taste is full, roasty, sweet, maple and vanilla. Boozyness is acceptable, but def to the higher side of enjoyable. Body is thick, but not thick enough to balance.

Draught Small cream rim over black beer, looking as discarded motor oil. Intense stout/roast nose, as a sweet liqueur based upon heated chocolate. Chocolate, dark and bitter, despite a sweet underbuild, very rich, as a malts' step up. Almost syrupy, coffee and vanilla. Very rich, voluptuous feel. Fiery alcoholburn. Rich, rewarding.

11/XI/23 - on tap @ Billies Craft Beer Festival (Antwerp), Day 2 - part 1, BB: n/a (2023-989) Thanks to Sebletitje, ElManana, 77ships, Eve and others for sharing today’s beers!

Clear black beer, small creamy beige to brown head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very sweet impression, vanilla, lactose, lots of chocolate, dark caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, alcohol, chocolate overload, lots of dark chocolate, very nice. Aftertaste: vanilla, sugary, lots of alcohol, soft bitterness, chocolate, sugary.

Hohe Viskosität. Schokoladiger, holzig alkoholischer Beginn. Rum, erneut Alkohol, erstaunlich süffig. Langer Abgang, nicht unbedingt ausgewogen. 9/11/8/11//11
