Golden blonde ale is an approachable, delicious beer that ticks all the boxes: it’s flavorful, light, gorgeous to look at, refreshing and not too strong on flavors like hops or malt.

Straw clear pale yellow from a can, decent white head fades rapidly. Fresh ale nose. First taste has a little of that wheat ale bitterness and this one is slightly astringent. Phenolics settle on the tongue. Could have a few more manners. Wheat ale bitter bite build on the back of tongue. Friendly carbonation. Not bad but could be better. Yes, typical wheat ale with its slight rudeness. My can says blonde ale, not light ale as pictured here. Not real light except color. Finish is a little difficult for a macro lager lover, but I still enjoyed it after cutting the front nine.
