Bottle. Pitch black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some caramel, coconut, ripe fruits, bananas and some vanilla with a bit of alcohol sweetness and some toasted tones. Flavour is pretty similar, but way sweeter than what the aroma let's you think. Otherwise nice, but a bit overly sweet in flavour.

Times must be really bad if you can buy Sori "exclusive" beers from local market. Alcohol, sweet, ripe banana, bit of yeast, toffee, sugary

Flavoured Baltic porter celebrating Sori’s ninth birthday, a festive beer sampled at BCBF. Yellowish beige, moussy, easily breaking and opening head on very dark chocolate brown beer – as good as black in fact, with mahogany edges. Aroma of muscovado sugar, lots of actual halfripe banana (effectively used here!), coconut but in a toasty way, dark chocolate, latté macchiato, plum jam, cinnamon, brown rum (strong), vanilla, lots of fudge. Densely sweet onset, candied plum and date with a thin sourish blackberry-like edge, quickly making room for a strong real banana flavour (almost incredibly real, as if biting on an actual medium ripe banana), softly carbonated with full, oily body; toffee, hazelnut paste and dark chocolate layers in the middle, with that banana element remaining as strong as it was – but gradually turning more artificial and ending like Pisang Ambon (the famed green banana liqueur), before toasty and hop bitter notes conspire with the coconut and rum-like booze to provide some balance. Feels as if someone poured a glass of Pisang Ambon into a perfectly fine and solid ‘postmodern’ Baltic porter – which was unnecessary to say the least, but admittedly original.

Pours black, no head. Scent is very off-putting, plastic impressions trough the combo of banana and roast. Taste is full, sweet, boozy, plastic-like, banana. Not a fan, but am I ever for this black beers with banana?
