The eagle has landed. When you’re looking to let the good times roll, Wingman has your back. A maverick of a Session IPA, this is a smooth ride of mellow tropical fruits, piney notes and a sharp citrus aroma. Refreshing, infinitely drinkable and with a steady boozing altitude of 4.3%, you’ll want to keep Wingman by your side all night long. Prepare ground control. Refreshment incoming.

Can shared with Morten at Gloomhaven session 01.06.24. Very pale and clear straw colour. Head is diminishing to nothing. Aroma and taste of sweet pale malt and citrusy hops. Also a hint of herbs. Very refreshing, with long aftertaste. A little thin mouthfeel.

Can. Bright clear paleish gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Light cooling pine into a very mild skunk accentuated hop fruit array. Mild citrus and tropical fruits. Light piney fruity finish. It's a bit thin and dry but the hop delivery is pretty decent if light. A glimpse of the pre adjunct heavy naff publicity schlock that for me, turned Brewdog from a 'must try' to a 'swerve' for the most part. This is pretty drinkable.

500 ml can, as BrewDog Wingman Session IPA - The Eagle Has Landed, from Helgø Meny Stokka. ABV is 4.3%. Nearly clear and very pale straw colour, moderate to small white head. Nice aroma of citric hops. Light bodied as expected, smooth mouthfeel. Moderate citric hops in the flavour too, not much of a malty backbone though. An acceptable summer refreshment, no more, no less.

Can @ home. Clear, very pale golden body under a big, creamy white had. Strong aroma of citric fruit, grapes, and fresh grass. Tast is light and refreshoing, mils pale malt, fruity hops, some pine, grassy and some bitterness. Medium body and a bit sweet in aftertaste, perhaps caused by lack of bitterness. A decent, really refreshing pale something with a strong session quality. Not very exciting, but probably exactly like intended.

Due to the fact that I was unable to use Ratebeer for several months and because of technical reasons, no detailed evaluation is possible.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a teku glass. Clear pale golden colour, good frothy macropore head, half-way lasting, patchy lacing. Aroma pale malt, grapefruit, grain, grassy hops. Rather flat taste, malty, grain, light grapefruit, white grapes, nice. Light to medium body, watery to creamy texture, average carbonation, in the semi-dry aftertaste more prominent bitterness but still subdued, refreshing, nice.
