Bottled 330ml (Beergium, bottled 03/2019) Opaque colour, small beige head. Toasted malts and apple in the nose. Medium-bodied. Toasted, sweetish, fruity, alcohol, light earthyness in the flavour. Thin for its ABV. Neh. Below average imperial stout.

Spanish 'impy', bottle shared by tderoeck, cheers! Very thick, creamy and dense, pale yellow-beige head over a black beer with thin, hazy mahogany edges. Aroma of green coffee beans, fondant chocolate, cold espresso, burnt chicory, cigar ashes, caramel, liquorice, brown rum, dried elderberries, glue. Dried fig and baked banana sweetness in the onset, sourish edge, only very light umami accent, softish carb, thick oily body. Sweetish hazelnutty and chocolatey maltiness, developing more toastiness towards the end and finishing with full coffeeish roasted bitterness accentuated by a peppery hop punch and heating, rum-like, lingering alcohol as well as a spicy liquorice-like effect. No game changer when it comes to this overexposed style, but certainly enjoyable for what it is and one of the better In Peccatums for me so far.
