750ml bottle from Westhill Service. It pours clear pale almost greenish gold with a small, fizzy white head. The aroma is bright, zingy, tangy, bright tart apple, crunchy, white wine, gooseberry, funk, muck and barnyard. The taste is crispy, dry, zingy, puckering, bright, nip of acidity, tart apple, gooseberry, white grape, soor plooms, lemon - lime, sherbet, vinous, apple skin, light tannin, dry oak, funk and barnyard with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Bright zingy and quenching. Tasty.
