Taste comprises tangy dried fruits, herb, spice, roasted bite, dried red berries, soured fruit rinds, hint of vanilla, trace of yuzu, cacao nibs. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid flavoursome stuff.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Dec 22. Pours dark, off-white head. Aroma brings roast, dark fruit, sour ume. Surprisingly sour flavour profile, which I suspect is down to the exceedingly sour ume fruit that has aged in the beer for 18 months and contributes an hugely impactful sour edge alongside the dark roast malts. Impressive stuff.
