Legend has it that the ghost of a Viking Chieftain occupies the clump of trees that keeps watch over Teesdale. (Those on the label…) With a deep red almost bloody colour, this beer can certainly stir the imagination. So sit back, relax and be at one with Kirkcarrions Ghost.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 14/09/23. Deep reddish amber with a good sized light beige cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is biscuit, toffee, dried red berry fruits, hedgerow, grains. Taste comprises biscuit malts, red berry nip, caramel, brown bread, malt forward, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Fine for the style.
