The origins of Rocky Road are unclear, but it’s universally agreed to be a gorgeous treat, combining every child’s favourite ingredients! This felt like a perfect match for our Pardus series of Imperial Stouts, so we worked on how to combine them. The end result is everything we hoped for – this beer is luxurious with a silky, marshmallowy body that caresses the palate with a combination of rich chocolate, biscuity malt and raisin notes

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, small head. Perfumy nose with marshmallows and vanilla. Sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Somewhere there, deep under all the artificial sweet junk, rests a nice stout. Not worthy Thornbridge.

Can, small lightish brown bubbly head, opaque intense brown colour, aroma of marshmallow and milk chocolate, flavor of marshmallow with some roasted notes and a bit of artificial fruitiness, sweetness just a touch heavy. Nice, but one dimensional and not too exciting.

Can at home, from Thornbridge online, 21/01/23. Black with a big old tan cap that stays for the show. Nose is sweet malts, light perfume, cocoa powder, smores, caramel, mellow roast. Taste comprises dark malts, chocolate, hint of red berries, caramel, marshmallows, light sugar dusting. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light spike of alcohol. Tidy impy stout ... pulls of the Rocky Road aspects rather well.
