Samarbeidsbrygg med Ale Apothecary ( OR), Breakside ( OR) og Crooked Stave (CO). Wild ale gjæret på knust kirsebær ( med både norske og amerikanske føtter) og villgjær fra alle 4 bryggerier. Sekundærgjæret på gamle rødvinsfat for deretter å gjære enda en gang i større eikefat med enda mer kirebær og litt salt.

A small taste on tap @ TCBW 2023. Pours intense deep purple with a medium pink head. Aroma is sweet and tart malts with cherries. Flavor is sweet and tart malts with cherries and some oak. Good.

Bottled. Ruby red colour with a pinkish red head, that stays for a bit. Charries, some nutty and mild almond tones with a wee bit of sweetness to it. Flavour is nicely tart cherries, some sour wood and mild nutty elements with some sweet malty tones as well. Finishes off kind of swett, but also tart and mild dry acidic tones to it.

(375ml bottle from a now-forgotten source) Pours deep purple red wine colour with a small deep lavender head that stays. Notes of lightly tart, lightly sweet cherry juice, some light tannins, lightly salty mineral body, rose wine, a little oak, a bit thin and watery. Quite solid but I was expecting something with a bit more heft and depth.

Well stored bottle. Clear, deep purple body under a thin, lacing pink head. Strong aroma of red berries dominated by cherry. Taste is complex and very nice with lots of ref berries, cherry and wood. A fine combination of sweet cherry and sour cherry. Perfect body and long lasting aftertaste of pleasant cherry, red fruit, wood, tannins ending with more pronounced acidity and bitterness. Lovely stuff, a really nice fruit beer that’s neither a kriek or fruit juice.

Bottle, 375ml corked. An intense red beer, unclear, with a deep pink head of moderate size. A bit weak aroma, still with loads of cherry. Wood hints and a hint of marzipan too. It's full bodied, velvety and nicely carbonated, with a woody tannin touch. Cherry dominated flavor and finish. A quite delicious one indeed, but I'm a bit surprised the berries aren't even more pronounced. 200626

Dyp mørk lilla klar med lavt kortvarig rødt skum. Lukter tydelig kirsebær. Middels fylde. Masse sursøte kirsebær i smak, noe korn og trevirke. Middels lang, rørt avslutning.
