Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is fruity and piney hops with citrus, orange, pine resin, grapefruit, malt, peach, slightly candied fruits, touch of caramel, light alcohol. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is above medium. No hop burn, but there's a little alcohol. Heavy and piney with citrussy fruits, bittersweetish, good IIIPA.

Clear orange-golden color, average sized white head. Aroma is malts, hops. Flavor is malts, hops, hop bitterness, some resin /pine notes but -and even though it has quite a thick texture and full body- it does not really please me somehow. It's decent, it's solid even. But it doesn't have the wow it blew my mind-factor imo. 8-3-8-5-14.

44cl Can, thanks Harmen! Almost clear amber colour, off-white head. Aroma is very hoppy, resin, spruce, light herbal, hint of citrus, very potent, alcohol. Flavour is quite bitter and sweet at the same time, thick sweet malts, fresh resin, pine tree, light leafy, spruce, soft citrus, firm bitter finish, alcohol. Full bodied. Good stuff.

Draft tasting glass @ Foeders. Amber orange, cream white head. Nose is very thick cough syrup pine, grapefruit peel, very old school and super thick. Thick medicinal hop cough syrup bark, pine resin & orange peel, bitterness, old school thick, heavy and very nice to drink, lovely.

Odd mix between heavy bitterness, loads of alcohol, and a big, butterscotchy sweetness. Smells piney hoppy, but that gets overwhelmed by bittersweet booze. Not bad, a bit tasty even, but not much more than dryhopped tramp fuel. Pity.
