Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours very dark brown with a large and persistent dark tan head. Aroma of roast and chocolate. Arguably med body. Malty but dry. Roast and chocolate for flavor. Moderately bitter.

Oh yea, cheap 1$ bottle off the clearance rack @ JR's. It pours big and black. Nice head too. Smells like a healthy stout, all that roasted olfactory malt and shit. Big first slurpy slug has very little, if any co2. Yes, its a dark roasted little devil. Unilluminated feelings of old aged damp half burned campfire wood, hehehh. In the middle it seems to go down pretty good for over 6%. Can do it, I like that inky beer attitude. Hey, its gloomy, its beer, and I like these darker beers, especially stouts. Yea baby, there is no stupid ass holiday spices in this; it's just a nice decent real straight up stout, true to the style, thank you. Yea, I'm liking this poorly lit mess; it has the impact I'm looking for. Big thanks vicky.

Black with a medium sized foamy brown head that left decent lacing. Dry, bitter and roasty with notes of wood and floral hops. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Pour is a black with a large mocha tan head. Aroma is roasted malt ans semi-sweet chocolate. Flavor is not totally bitter and not super sweet chocolate. Finish is a little bitter and leaves a nice roasted malt on the tongue. Nothing wrong with this, just a nice simple stout.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige head. Dark chocolate malt and light smoke and roasted malt aromas. Palate is very similar. Bitter dark chocolate on the finish.

Just a damn good American stout. No adjuncts, no barrels, no syrupy residual lactose. Roasted malts create notes of caramel and dark chocolate and mocha, followed by hints of dark fruit and a firm bitterness on the finish. Excellent beer.
