Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2023, Saturday. Almost black beer with a beige lacing. Aroma and Taste of whiskey, strong dark malt, coffee, boozy finish.

During Jackie O's TTO after MBCC first day. Shared with Phill, Balder, Will, Brian, and Ryan. Sweet, a bit weird, candies, quite sweet, some spice (is there a rye?). Pretty good.

On tap at Peders, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out somewhat messy whiskey barrels and obscured earthiness. Flavour is a bit messy, with whiskey barrels, earthiness, and some booze. Earthy and rough, with a thin maltiness.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, alcohol, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, prunes, alcohol, and wood, leading to a dry finish. Not refined.
