Nice beer. Base is their goto, the additional french barrels come through and give it a spiky dry sharpness and dries it out. Very good, not their best. Rating are correct. Mikkeller ams

Ölprovning två pohjala testas med PQ med utsikt över skärgården och öland. Först smakar den blåbär med bourbon och lite choklad. Efter en stund känns mer bourbon och mindre blåbär. Relativt söt.

Sort med brun beige perleskum som daler fort. Aroma lakris sirup malt whisky kaffe sjokolade. Smak søt lakris whisky fatpreg sjokolade sirup havre pulverkaffe. Saftig og fyldig stout med god smaksbalanse, uten at alkohol blir markert. Flaske delt med DjOe

Draught@Pohjala Taproom. Black colour, small head. Aroma is liquorice, syrup, alcohol, mild wood and some chocolate. Flavour is liquorice, chocolate syrup, maple syrup and a bit alcohol. Nice sipper.

Tap at taproom. Opaque colour and tiny beige head. Roasted notes, whiskey, fat bottom. Full-bodied. Sweet roasted flavour, whiskey. Solid but their most interesting cellar serie brew.

Shared at Palace Hall, Malmö March 2024 tasting (23/03/2024) - roasted and sweet malty with velvety smooth chocolate in there, some sweet malty toffee and caramelics, full bodied, whisky infused lingering and warming dark malty into the close.

0,33l bottle from a friend, shared @ Rantakylä. Pours very dark brown with a low head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts with whisky. Flavor is sweet roasted malts with whisky, hops. Very nice.
