Leftover from the Adventskalender. Dark purple beer with a frothy to creamy dark pink head. Thick and gluppity. Quite a sight. Aroma is a berry melange, mostly blackberry and cranberry. Taste is mildly sweet up front, then progresses towards a sour finish with a moderate acidity that lingers. Full-bodied, moderate to mild carbonation. Too intense and acidic to feel refreshing. But a pleasant diversion.

Süffiger, süß-säuerlicher Beginn nach Johannis-, Him- und Brombeere. Cremig, erhöhte Viskosität, weich. Zum Mittelteil steigt die Säure etwas an, weiter intensiv fruchtig, erfrischend, Smoothie. Lamger Abgang. 14/9/11/11/12/11

Can picked up from Beyond Beer Geek Edition Bier Adventskalender and consumed at home Thursday 7th December 2023 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music, about to cook Polpettes with a Tomato Sauce and homemade Christmas Pudding with homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. Pours a crazy beetroot red with incredible reddy purple coloured head, oh my this is a real head turner. Zappy and fruity, the blueberries, blackberries and whatever other berries there give a lovely tartness, but there is a sweetness and it's lovely, really lovely, quite thick mouthfeel, lovely.
