Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Mother Kelly's BG. Pours unclear deep brown-black with a creamy, tan head. Very very sweet, lots of chocolate and coffee ice cream, mellow ashy roast, some chocolate syrup, vague hazelnut, some burnt toffee, raisins. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Sweet, sticky, lightly warming finish, more sugary chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, sugary coffee drink. Kind of fun as a novelty.

Bottle split at L6, thanks to Danny, 'Farewell New Ken' tasting 18/09/19. Black with a well presented tan head. Nose is light charr, chocolate, mellow roast, nutty twang, toffee. Taste comprises sweet malts, brown sugar dusting, light coffee vibes, Cadburys fruit and nut, light roast base. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok impy stout … drinks easy for the ABV but a touch overly sweet for the Bois palate.

Bottle shared at the Columbus tasting 18/09/2019. Many thanks! A clear brown coloured pour with ahlao fo tan head. Aroma is sweet, woody, grape, vanilla, cranberry, marzipan. Palate is medium sweet, cinnamon, brandy snap sugars, jammy sugars, vanilla, suhgars, cinnamon ., sweet, sugary.

18th September 2019 Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to Dan. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Softish smooth dark malts with a mild creamy sweetness. Smooth coffee and chocolate. Little dark fruits ok the smooth finish. Smooth then!

375ml bottle @ Panema, Helsinki. Poured dark brown color. Thin head. Nutty, biscuity aroma, candy sweet crackers. Sweet nutty flavors. Over the top sweetness, some toast.
