On tap at Moeder Lambic, Brussels, Sat 6th April 2024. Pours mid hazy gold with a white head. Piney notes with caramel, these come through in the mouth. I'm sat outside and just received a notification that my 16:25 train to Frankfurt has been cancelled and thus my ongoing transfer and completion of the journey to Plattling is no longer possible, grrr..... back to the beer, it's nice but I am struggling to concentrate now, ah well there are worse places to be stranded for the night than Brussels.

(Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 22 Oct 2023) Golden amber colour with frothy, tan head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of orange peel, pink grapefruit and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with orange peel, grapefruit, resin, crisp-bread and a mild citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced IPA. Nice one.

Tap at moeder lambic fountain. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a fine halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, toffee, chewy malts, grassing pine, bark. Wet dog. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, chewy, toffee, pine, soapy. Palate is semi sweet, chewy, moderate carbonation. Ok.

Clear amber beer with a beige head. Aroma of resinous bitter hops, pine, caramel. Taste of resinous bitter hops, spruce, caramel, red malt, leaves. Long bitter finish.
