Deze editie is gebrouwen met amandel noten. De amandelen zijn subtiel terug te vinden in de mond, maar ook de welbekende tonen van chocola en caramel.

330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full tan head. Aromas of marzipan, ash, dry dark chocolate and roasted malts. Flavors of dark caramel, dark sugars, almonds, and roasted malts. The almonds seem to really depreciate the sweetness of the base beer, providing a bit of balance and dryness. Still, I miss the really sweet CFS…

0.33 l can from 'Rebelbeercans', best before December 2026. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Intensely sweetish-malty, gently roasty, a bit artificial aroma of big marzipan, caramel, chocolate, vanilla, some coffee and a touch of hazelnut. Fairly sweet, malty, gently roasty and a little artificial taste of lots of marzipan, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, coffee and some hazelnut, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty as usual, maybe a bit too much this time. Looking forward to the new BA variants.
